"Love me" or "Angel in Black" 2023 Ceramic vase, underglaze drawing, gold, triple fire 22 2/5 × 7 9/10 × 7 9/10 in, 57 × 20 × 20 cm

In this work, I explore the theme of intimate relationships between people, their secret desires and fears. The angel at the top of this vase in a black evening dress literally opens her soul to the surface, showing her real smiling face, ready for adventure and parties. After all, once an angel was a man, and behind him on the wings are memories of the past. And in front on the wings are golden tears that one cannot sin in the present tense. The surreal scenes on the vase itself show how absurd the relationship between a man and a woman can be: sometimes it’s easier to ride on your own dog than to find understanding with a partner.
