Beauty and Donkeys 1
Beauty and Donkeys
Acrylic on canvas, 59 1/10 × 59 1/10 in | 150 × 150 cm
In this work, I reflect on the nature of temptation — how both humans and donkeys can blindly follow the proverbial carrot offered by society. I’ve combined surrealism with vintage aesthetics to explore the contradictions within human nature. At the center is an elegant woman, surrounded by donkey figurines, embodying the tension between refinement and primal instinct. There’s a certain mystique here, a quiet emotional depth. I invite the viewer to contemplate: what shapes our identity? How free are we in our choices, and what truly drives us?) Acrylic on canvas, 59 1/10 × 59 1/10 in | 150 × 150 cm
